Alexsandra Meijer's repertoire includes Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, the title role in Giselle, the title role in Ben Stevenson's Cinderella, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, the title role of Carmen by Roland Petit, Kitri in Don Quixote, Swanilda in Coppélia, the title role of The Firebird, Karen Blixen in Flemming Flindt's Out of Africa, Sanguinic in George Balanchine's The Four Temperaments, Terpsichore in his Apollo, the Dark Angel and The Waltz Girl in Serenade, the lead in Balanchine's Square Dance, Long Tall Sally from Dennis Nahat's Blue Suede Shoes, Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Caroline in Antony Tudor's Jardin aux Lilas, the role of The Lover in Michael Smuin's Shinjü, Hedda Gabler in Val Caniparoli's Ibsen's House, Juno in Smuin's The Tempest, and the lead in Paquita, as well as Sir Frederick Ashton's Méditation from Thaïs.

She has performed in a wide variety of styles by important choreographers including Julia Adams, Wes Chapman, Lew Christensen, Agnes de Mille, Jorma Elo, Jessica Lang, Donald McKayle, Léonide Massine, Vicente Nebrada, Igal Perry, Yuri Possokhov, Dalia Rawson, Avi Scher, Twyla Tharp, Clark Tippet and Stanton Welch.

As a choreographer, Ms. Meijer created a new work for Silicon Valley Ballet (then known as Ballet San Jose) in 2009, The Way We Fall, featuring music by Loop!Station.

She has been recognized by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts with an award in ballet.

Ms. Meijer is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 7 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.

She joined Silicon Valley Ballet (then known as Ballet San Jose) in 2001.
