Brittany Woo joined Silicon Valley Ballet (then known as Ballet San Jose) as an Apprentice in 2014 after completing two years in the Silicon Valley Ballet (previously Ballet San Jose) School Trainee Program. As a Trainee, Brittany performed in repertoire including Karen Gabay's The Nutcracker, George Balanchine's Serenade and Stars and Stripes, Sir Frederick Ashton's Le Rendezvous, and Wes Chapman's staging of Don Quixote.
As a Trainee, Miss Woo also performed in numerous educational outreach demonstrations and performances. She performed in Mads Ericksen's Casting Shadows, and Dalia Rawson's Left and After Dreaming. She also performed as Odette and Aurora in Silicon Valley Ballet School's 2013 and 2014 Summer Intensive Showcases. In 2013, she was awarded the Erma Weil Scholarship.
Prior to joining Silicon Valley Ballet School's Trainee program in 2012, Brittany trained at Gelsey Kirkland's Academy of Classical Ballet in New York City. In 2008 and 2009, Brittany was named and awarded Dance Masters of California's overall top female scholarship audition winner, including competitions in ballet, tap, acro, and jazz.
