Dalia Rawson, SVB Managing Director

From 1991 to 2006, Dalia Rawson performed a wide variety of leading roles as a dancer with Ballet San Jose. Rawson began teaching at Ballet San Jose School in 2000, and was named School Ballet Mistress in 2007, School Principal in 2012, Trainee Program Director in 2013, and School Director in 2014. In 2011, Rawson was awarded a Fellowship from the New York Choreographic Institute, an affiliate of New York City Ballet. Dalia Rawson is an ABT Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 7 of the ABT National Training Curriculum. She is a member of the ABT NTC Board of Examiners.

In 2015, Rawson was named Managing Director of SVB, in charge of the School, Trainee Program, and new business, including expanding SVB's Bodies of Technology program and building the SVB Tech Committee.

Mads Eriksen, Principal Faculty

Mads Eriksen grew up in Copenhagen Denmark, where he attended The Royal Danish Ballet School. After his graduation in 2002, he joined The Royal Danish Ballet. In 2007 Mr. Eriksen joined Ballet San Jose, dancing various roles such as Von Rothbart in Nahat's Swan Lake, Spanish in Nahat's The Nutcracker, as well as roles in Balanchine's Theme and Variations, Nahat's Summerscape, Mendelsohn Symphony, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Mr. Eriksen began teaching at Ballet San Jose School in 2008 and was named Senior Faculty in 2012 and Principal Faculty in 2014. Mr. Eriksen is an ABT Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 7 of the ABT National Training Curriculum.

Le Mai Linh, Principal Faculty

Le Mai Linh trained in his native Vietnam and at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, where he won the Carl Wolz Prize. After joining Ballet San Jose in 1994, his work as a principal dancer received high praise in national publications. He has performed as a guest artist, notably dancing the role of Albrecht in Oakland Ballet’s Izzy Award winning revival of Frederic Franklin’s Giselle. Mr. Linh's is known for his meticulous coaching. His students have placed in the final round of the Youth American Grand Prix, and they impress local audiences at SVBS productions.

Linh is an ABT Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 7 of the ABT National Training Curriculum. He teaches students in the Junior and Senior Pre-Professional Divisions, and is invited to teach around the country as a master teacher.

Elizabeth Hutter, Ballet Faculty & Primary Division Coordinator 

Dr. Elizabeth Hutter, PsyD trained with Boston Ballet and danced with Boston Ballet II. 
She earned her B.A. at Georgetown University, her certification in Shakespearean literature and performance at Oxford University, and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in Chicago, followed by an internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School. She worked as a psychotherapist at the Art Institute of Chicago, encouraging healthy development of artistic expression.

An ABT-Certified Teacher, Dr. Hutter delights in combining her career and personal passions as Silicon Valley Ballet School’s Primary Division Coordinator, and in teaching ballet in an environment that supports psychological wellness. She additionally serves as Performance Enhancement Advisor as part of SVBS’s Wellness program.
