Silicon Valley Ballet School
Silicon Valley Ballet School is the official school of Silicon Valley Ballet, and an American Ballet Theatre Certified Institution. Established in 1996 as Ballet San Jose School, Silicon Valley Ballet School provides training for students as young as 12 months old to students ready to begin a professional career. After school classes in three divisions, a full-day Trainee program for dancers at the cusp of their professional career, drop-in classes for teen and adult students of all levels (including absolute beginners), and a variety of workshops, camps, and summer programs, are available to meet the needs of students of all ages and levels.
Two convenient locations: San Jose and Palo Alto.
The San Jose Studio is the home of the professional company as well as Primary Division, Pre-Professional Division and Drop-In classes, the Trainee Program, the Summer Intensive and numerous workshops, camps and programs. Classes are available in San Jose for students of all ages and levels, from absolute beginners to pre-professionals, and from ages 12 months to all ages of adults.
Classes at the Palo Alto studio are available for students ages 2-10, and feature Silicon Valley Ballet’s professional faculty, as well as special access to Silicon Valley Ballet’s professional dancers. Located in the heart of Palo Alto, at 4000 Middlefield Rd. between E. Charleston and San Antonio, this convenient location is ideal for Silicon Valley families on the go.

American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum
Silicon Valley Ballet School is proud to include the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.
Led by School Director Dalia Rawson, Silicon Valley Ballet’s expert faculty includes former professional dancers from around the world. Guest teachers include Artistic Director José Manuel Carreño and dancers and staff from Silicon Valley Ballet.
